Sound Bowl Workshops & Training

Crystal Bowl Facilitator Workshops

For those who want to work with the bowls themselves. These are hands-on, one-day training workshops co-led by Jessica Arnatt of Vibe High and Jenna Dillon of Golden Harmonics, who bring a combined 14 years of experience with crystal singing bowls and sound facilitation. Bowls and all materials are provided. Spaces are deliberately limited to keep the training hands-on.

Awakening the Crystal Bowl Facilitator — Level 1

  • Dates: Saturday, October 17 or Saturday, October 24, 2026
  • Time: 10:10 AM – 5:55 PM
  • Location: Yahweh Wellness Lounge, 64070 338 Ave E, Foothills County, AB
  • Investment: $444 early bird / $555 regular — early bird ends September 30 at midnight

There is something unmistakable that happens when a crystal singing bowl is played with presence and intention. It’s more than beautiful sound — it’s resonance, awareness, and connection.

This immersive one-day workshop builds a strong practical foundation in working with crystal singing bowls. Rather than simply learning techniques, you’ll spend the day working directly with the bowls: discovering how they respond, how subtle changes in touch influence the sound, and how resonance develops through attentive listening and practice.

The day combines discussion, demonstration, observation, hands-on practice, and guided coaching.

What we’ll explore together

  • Playing crystal singing bowls with confidence, consistency, and control
  • Developing clear tone using a variety of playing techniques
  • The foundations of frequency, resonance, and how sound behaves
  • Recognizing the unique qualities of different crystal singing bowls
  • Choosing bowls that align with your preferences and intended use
  • Caring for, transporting, and handling bowls safely
  • Listening skills that improve both musicality and bowl awareness

What you’ll leave with

A solid foundation, practical experience, and greater confidence — understanding not only how to play the bowls more effectively, but why technique, listening, and presence all shape the quality of the sound you create.

Good to know

  • No prior experience required
  • Bowls are provided for you to work with throughout the day
  • All workshop materials included

Embodying the Crystal Bowl Facilitator — Level 2

  • Dates: Sunday, October 18 or Sunday, October 25, 2026
  • Time: 10:10 AM – 5:55 PM
  • Location: Yahweh Wellness Lounge, 64070 338 Ave E, Foothills County, AB
  • Investment: $444 early bird / $555 regular — early bird ends September 30 at midnight
  • Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1

Level 1 provides the foundation. Level 2 bridges the gap between learning to play the bowls and confidently facilitating a full sound session.

Playing the bowls is only one part of creating a meaningful experience. A well-facilitated session also means creating a welcoming environment, communicating clearly, reading the room, navigating group dynamics, holding space with confidence, and guiding participants through a thoughtfully structured experience from beginning to end.

This interactive workshop combines discussion, demonstration, observation, hands-on practice, reflection, and supportive feedback.

What we’ll explore together

  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and grounded environment
  • Structuring a crystal bowl sound session with intention
  • Reading the room and responding to group dynamics
  • Using your voice, silence, and presence intentionally
  • Supporting emotional experiences with professionalism and discernment
  • Maintaining professional boundaries and understanding your scope of practice
  • Developing your own authentic facilitation style

Who it’s for

Anyone planning to facilitate community sound sessions or private sessions — or who simply wants to deepen their facilitation skills and lead with greater clarity, presence, and professionalism.

Because facilitating a sound session is about so much more than playing the bowls. It’s about creating an experience where people feel welcomed, supported, and able to reconnect with themselves — long after the final note has faded.
